Murder-Suicide Investigated in Phnom Penh

Phnom Penh: Police are on the scene of an apparent murder-suicide on Phnom Penh’s Street 90 in Daun Penh. Initial reports say two people, believed to be husband and wife, were found dead in their house near Wat Phnom on Friday morning.

At this point, the investigation is focusing on a murder-suicide, after reports from neighbours that the couple had a loud argument on the second floor of their home. It appears as though the husband shot his wife before turning the gun on himself, although this has not been confirmed by police.

Updates are expected imminently.
